Terms of Use

Last updated October 9, 2026

By using szuky.life you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use the site.

This site is operated by James Szuky, an independent musician based in Ontario, Canada. Contact: szuky.mgmt@gmail.com

The work on this site

The music, artwork, video, text, design and code on this site are owned by szuky or used with permission, and are protected by copyright.

You are welcome to listen, watch, and share links. You may not copy, re-upload, redistribute, remix for release, or use any of it commercially without written permission. Using the music in your own video, stream, game or other project requires permission first — just ask.

The store

Products are sold and fulfilled by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Your purchase is a contract with Gumroad, and their terms, payment handling and refund policy govern it. Questions about a charge, download or refund go to Gumroad first.

Digital products are licensed, not sold. The specific licence terms are supplied with each product. As a general rule, you may use them to make your own music, and you may not resell, redistribute or repackage the files themselves.

The mailing list

Signing up is voluntary and you can leave at any time using the link in any email. Messages will be about music, videos, merchandise and shows.

Links elsewhere

This site links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram and Gumroad. Those services are not controlled here, and their content and policies are their own responsibility.

This site is provided as is. It may go down, contain mistakes, or change without notice. No warranty of any kind is made about it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from using — or being unable to use — this site.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change when they are, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
